Composer
Jordan Murray Beardsley is a composer for film, video- games, and other media and is well versed and can write in both contemporary and older styles of composition including classical, electronic, metal, folk, and has a passion for researching new styles as well as working on his own unique, personal brand of music.
He has written music in many different styles for a variety of short films, web series, and demo scenes, has had his work performed live and holds a College Diploma in Music from the Red Deer College Music Program, an International Baccalaureate (IB) Certificate in Music, an Advanced Certificate and Applied Bachelor's Degree for Film Production from the Red Deer College Motion Picture Arts and has been composing and playing music for 10 years.
He is familiar with the latest DAW softwares using mostly Digital Performer and Reason, notation software such as Notion and Guitar Pro, sampling softwares such as East West’s line of instruments, Garritan, IK Multimedia’s Miroslav Philharmonik and Sampletank, Kontakt, and has made many of his own custom samples through Reason’s built in sampling software.
He has a passion for and is proficient at Electric Guitar, has a strong Bass 2 Vocal Range, writes MIDI with Keyboard and an Electronic Drum Kit (and occasionally Guitar and Audio Waves!), played Percussion for various Ensembles such as the Red Deer College Symphonic Winds, and is very knowledgeable with the latest Amplification, Recording, Midi control, and other various forms of Audio Hard and Software.
He currently has composed music for over 20 visual media projects including but not limited to short films, web-series, commercial work, and more and loves teaching his craft to others in order to help them achieve their musical dreams and aspirations!
